Gee Kee Laundry Sign

The Gee Kee Laundry, located at 2 Cherry Street in Danvers, opened for business no later than 1929. The establishment, owned and operated by Charley Gee, was one of two Chinese laundries in Danvers during the period. It closed in 1956 and in 1958, the Kwong Wing Lee Laundry opened at the same location. Later, the Nam Laundry took its’ place, which closed in the early 1990s.
